Join us for a captivating evening as Katie Hasbrouck, owner of the historic Union Hotel in Dayton, Nevada, shares the remarkable story of Iva Gruber, granddaughter of Union Hotel proprietors Charles and Caroline Gruber. Drawing from Iva’s personal memoirs, Katie will illuminate vivid accounts of life in Dayton from the 1870s through the 1930s.
Katie, a retired professional from Harley-Davidson Financial Services, currently serves as Secretary of the Main Street Dayton Project and is an active member of the Historical Society of Dayton Valley. Her deep ties to the community and passion for preserving its history make this lecture a must-attend event.
